Shipyard
Browse. Deploy. Build.
GitHub has millions of open-source web apps, but there's no way to try them. Every README promises a live demo — most links are dead. Shipyard catalogs open-source web applications with live, running demos. Browse by category, search by tag, hover a card to launch a fullscreen preview. Fork to your GitHub and deploy your own copy in one click.
Project Discovery
A searchable, filterable grid of every cataloged project. Hover a card and click 'Try it' to launch a fullscreen preview — the app running live inside a modal. Fork to GitHub and deploy your own copy in one click.

Infrastructure
Shipyard runs on Next.js with Supabase (Postgres, Auth, RLS). An import pipeline scrapes awesome lists and GitHub search, filters for quality signals (50+ stars, permissive license, web framework detection), auto-tags from 36 regex patterns and 40+ dependency mappings, and deploys each project to its own isolated Vercel instance. The platform went from 10 hand-curated projects to 158 in a single session.
